The A.L.P.S. mvX® Proximal Tibia System is designed as a comprehensive solution for proximal tibia fracture fixation. With multiple lateral and medial plate family options, dedicated fixation solutions, and intuitive instrumentation, the system is designed to support surgeon preference, procedural efficiency, and intraoperative flexibility.
System Features
Lateral Proximal Tibia Plating
The A.L.P.S. mvX® Proximal Tibia System includes both standard lateral and narrow lateral plating families designed to address variable patient anatomy and fracture presentation.
Medial Proximal Tibia Plating
The A.L.P.S. mvX® Proximal Tibia System also includes multiple medial plating families including direct medial plates, anteromedial plates, and posteromedial plates. The plates were designed to address a broad range of proximal tibia fracture patterns, anatomies, and surgical approaches within one comprehensive system.
Extensive Screw Options
The system is equipped with a range of screw options including variable-angle locking and non-locking 2.7 and 3.5mm screws, along with non-locking 4.0mm screws to provide a broad range of opportunities for fracture fixation. All of the screws range in length from 10-100mm providing a large scope of lengths to successfully repair indicated proximal tibia fractures.
Streamlined Instrumentation
The A.L.P.S. mvX® Proximal Tibia System leverages the A.L.P.S. mvX Core set, which includes screws and instruments, to create a versatile solution for streamlined management and enhanced efficiency. The instrumentation is color-coded and the tray layout is designed for efficiency and ease of use to simplify the surgical process. The set also includes unique instrumentation, including the periarticular proximal tibia clamp to help hold and position bone fragments, as well as the aiming arm to support screw targeting through a minimally invasive approach. The aiming arm and associated instrumentation is included in its own self-contained case and tray for efficiency.

- The A.L.P.S. mvX® Proximal Tibia System is designed as a comprehensive platform for proximal tibia fracture fixation, with six plate families and specialized design features intended to address a broad range of fracture patterns and surgical approaches.
- The plates are designed to be low-profile with minimal screw head prominence to minimize soft tissue irritation. They have K-wire holes for provisional fixation, tapered distal ends for insertion, and in select plates, slots for flexibility in positioning and options for soft tissue repair support.
Versatility Unmatched
- The system accommodates low-profile non-locking screws and variable-angle locking screws across 2.7mm and 3.5mm diameters, along with 4.0mm non-locking screws, giving surgeons a broad range of fixation options. All screws in the system are designed to be compatible with any screw hole, in any plate.
- Variable-angle locking technology provides a 30° cone of angulation, supporting intraoperative flexibility in screw trajectory and placement.
- The system utilizes one driver with a screw retention feature for all screw sizes, providing surgeons confidence in screw retention and further simplifying the surgical process.
