The AFFIXUS® Retrograde Femoral Nailing System is part of a long bone nailing platform designed to treat a range of femoral fractures from simple to complex, with versatile locking options. The AFFIXUS platform of instrumentation is designed to deliver enhanced fixation1 with thoughtful instrumentation for the most common intraoperative approaches.

Retained Jig Knobs

The Retrograde Femoral jig arms connect to the jig nose via the jig knob. The knobs are retained by the jig arm to maintain positive control, which then thread into the jig nose for a secure fit.

Unified System

The Affixus Nailing System is a long bone nailing system that offers implants designed to treat a range of fractures from simple to complex. The tibia nail is identified by a blue band. The Piriformis Fossa entry is identified by a magenta band. The Greater Trochanter entry is identified by a yellow band. The Retrograde Femoral nail is identified by a green band.

Independent Targeting Arms

Modular design for the Oblique and Lateral Targeting arms allows each arm to be connected to the jig nose independently. Jig arms that may interfere with reduction clamps can be attached after the fracture is reduced during the workflow.

Stabilize

The most proximal screw hole in the distal cluster has a StabiliZe tab, creating an advanced construct to help minimize backout

CoreLock Technology

The Affixus Nailing system incorporates our legacy CoreLock™ Technology to mechanically lock the most distal 3 screws for enhanced fixation1, all designed to address the distinct needs of complex fractures.
