Surgeon to Surgeon Visitation Program

The Surgeon to Surgeon (S2S) Visitation Program helps unite healthcare professionals with Zimmer Biomet faculty at approved visitation sites for observation in the operating room environment.

S2S visits are primarily designed for high level interaction, but in specific instances may be used to introduce a surgeon to the use of a product or procedure.

During the visit, sample topics may include pre-operative templating, anatomical considerations, specific procedural instruction, and in-depth product specifications.

Visitation highlights

  • Specific surgical techniques are reviewed and observed
  • Live surgeries are viewed in a hospital setting
  • Implant design rationale could be discussed

ROSA® Robotics Surgeon to Surgeon (S2S) Visitation

ROSA® Robotics S2S visits provide Surgeons and other HCPs who are considering purchasing a ROSA Robotics system an opportunity to observe the ROSA system in a hospital surgical environment.

ROSA Robotics S2S visits will include at least a one-hour discussion outside of the OR addressing how the ROSA system fits into a surgical practice, an observation of multiple (where possible) patient cases with the ROSA system, viewing of the ROSA system flow in the OR setting, and opportunities to ask questions of a surgeon that is utilizing the ROSA system.

Visitation highlights

  • Discussion on the usability of a ROSA system in a surgical practice
  • Review the ROSA System flow in an OR setting
  • Observation of patient cases with the ROSA System
