How can I obtain an OrthoPak Stimulator System?

the OrthoPak Stimulator System to you. The OrthoPak is a non-invasive
bone growth stimulator indicated for the treatment of an established
fracture nonunion acquired secondary to trauma, excluding vertebrae
and all flat bones, where the width of the nonunion defect is less
than one-half the width of the bone to be treated.
I have a pacemaker. Can I use the system?
The use of a
pacemaker or cardioverter must be assessed on an individual basis.
Zimmer Biomet recommends that you speak with a qualified healthcare
professional (HCP). This may require consultation with a cardiologist,
who can monitor your pacemaker with an electrocardiogram while the
patient is wearing the OrthoPak Stimulator System.
My doctor prescribed a cam walking fracture boot or wrist
splint/brace. Can I use the OrthoPak system while wearing these?
Yes, the OrthoPak Stimulator System’s electrodes can be worn
comfortably in combination with a boot, wrist splint or brace. Apply
the electrodes directly to the skin, at the fracture nonunion site
with each electrode positioned 180 degrees apart from one another.
Once the electrodes are positioned, you can wear the boot, wrist
splint or brace as directed by your doctor.
Is the system MRI safe?
MRI scans and procedures should
not be performed until the OrthoPak Stimulator System has been
