Zimmer® Trabecular Metal™ Humeral Stem

The Zimmer® Trabecular Metal™ humeral stem addresses key surgeon needs and is optimised for the patient’s anatomy.

The Zimmer Trabecular Metal humeral stem provides initial stability and is designed to provide long-term fixation,1 enabling the healing of challenging fracture cases. Trabecular Metal™ material supports biologic ingrowth to facilitate healing by enhancing vascularisation and more normal bone remodeling.2,3

The Trabecular Metal™ Technology construct provides better friction against bone when compared to alternative technologies, which increases implant stability.1,2

Zimmer Trabecular Metal Technology. No other porous material so closely resembles the structure, function and physiology of trabecular bone.

Trabecular Metal material is a highly porous structure with architecture that creates an initial scratch fit and facilitates biologic ingrowth. In clinical use since 1997 this innovative technology provides initial scratch fit and stable fixation.
