Severe cases of acetabular bone loss often requires an implant specifically made to match the patient’s individual anatomy. Zimmer Biomet’s Triflange Acetabular component is a patient-matched implant designed in partnership with the surgeon, using the patient’s own CT scan data.

The success of each implant starts with accurate reconstruction of the patient’s CT scan data into a 3D bone model. We use this to create an implant proposal that can be sent out digitally via 3D PDF file, or as a rapid prototype model. Once the surgeon approves the proposal, the final implant is manufactured for surgery. Expedited response is available for oncology cases or special circumstances.

Triflange Acetabular Component offers a PPS® Porous Plasma Spray coated bone-implant interface that incorporates proven RingLoc® locking technology..1–5 Hydroxyapatite coating is also available upon surgeon request.
