The Zimmer Biomet M/L Taper Hip Prosthesis offers a slim anterior / posterior dimension and bone-conserving alternative for patients, while the collarless prostheiss optimizes the clinically proven tapered wedge fixation philosophy1-3 while providing secure mediolateral stability.

As a combined system, the M/L Taper with Kinectiv® Technology introduces a system of modular stem and neck components designed to help the surgeon optimally restore the hip joint center intraoperatively by addressing leg length, offset, and version independently, while the broad array of neck options efficiently targets a wide range of male and female anatomies.

  • Tivanium Ti-6AI-4V Alloy provides excellent biocompatibility and strength without excessive stiffness
  • Distal Flutes provide a channel for blood and debris during insertion
  • Highly Polished Surfaces are designed to ease insertion and work in conjunction with the taper geometry to promote proximal loading
  • Circumferential Plasma Spray facilitates mechanical fixation for a secure bone-implant interface
  • Minimized Lateral Shoulder helps to conserve bone and ease insertion Reduced Neck Geometry below the 12/14 taper allows for greater ROM and optimized 131° neck angle allow for optimized range of motion
  • 12/14 Neck Taper accommodates a complete selection of femoral ceramic and metal femoral heads with a variety of head center options available
  • Broach only surgical technique and simple instrumentation allow for Intraoperative Flexibility with both minimally invasive and traditional approaches
  • Sizing Options 14 stem sizes ranging from 4 mm – 22.5 mm, with standard and extended offsets available
