Zimmer Biomet has been developing bone cement for decades and with the Refobacin® Plus Bone Cements now offers high viscosity, antibiotic loaded, X-ray positive cement, with easy handling.

Well Documented

Zimmer Biomet’s bone cements follow the standard specifications in all respects for material used, recipe and manufacturing methods. All bone cements from Zimmer Biomet show reliable performance based on international laboratory standard testing.1,2

Broad Antibacterial Spectrum

The Refobacin Plus Bone Cement includes gentamicin. Gentamicin is clinically proven to have broad antibacterial coverage.3

Easy Handling

To ensure reproducible, homogeneous bone cement of high quality, it is recommended that the bone cement be used with a closed vacuum mixing system, such as the Optivac® system. The handling properties will vary depending on the temperature of the cement and the operating room; higher temperatures will result in a shorter working phase and faster setting time. The Refobacin Plus Bone Cement is green coloured for easy recognition during surgery.

  • Refobacin Plus Bone Cement: High viscosity bone cement with gentamicin and with lower initial viscosity, making pre-chilling unnecessary
